Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) coverage is available for certain items. This coverage is in addition to our base coverage against item failures, and protects your unit against drops, spills, and other accidents that occur during normal usage.
Item eligibility and pricing for ADH depends on the category and condition of the item, the price you paid, and where the purchase was made (eBay vs. retail).
If your item is eligible for ADH coverage, you'll see the offer to add this additional coverage on the checkout page. If you purchase your warranty on the same day you buy your item, ADH coverage starts on day one - there's no exclusionary period. However, if you buy your warranty on a different day than the item, then the coverage begins 30 days after the warranty purchase.
Regardless of when you buy the warranty, ADH does not cover pre-existing conditions, willful damage, negligent use, theft, or loss ADH coverage must be purchased at the time of warranty purchase, and cannot be purchased separately.
If you purchase a Care Plan and later change your mind about ADH coverage, you must cancel and re-purchase the Care Plan with the desired option.
